MARION SCRYMGOUR MP
FEDERAL MEMBER FOR LINGIARI
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will put $3 million towards the construction of a new building for the Gunbalanya Youth Centre.
This election commitment will address issues raised by local young people, Elders and community leaders.
The current building is ageing and no longer fit for purpose as a youth centre.
Originally built as a training centre, the building does not adequately support youth programs.
This project will provide a safe and supervised environment where young people can participate in structured programs and cultural, educational and recreational activities.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
