Brent Potter

BRENT POTTER MLA – MEMBER FOR FANNIE BAY

Brent Potter is your local Member of Parliament for Fannie Bay, a vibrant and diverse electorate
that includes Fannie Bay, Parap, Ludmilla and The Gardens. Brent is a proud Territorian who has
made his home here with his wife and four kids.

Brent has a strong background in service and leadership. He served in the Australian Army for
over a decade with operational service in Afghanistan, and then worked in various sectors such as
Aged Care, defence manufacturing, public service and management consultancy. He also holds a
Master’s in Business from the University of New South Wales.

Brent is passionate about making our community and our Territory a better place for everyone.
He wants to preserve what makes Fannie Bay special, while also supporting its growth and
development, for our kids and their kids to enjoy.

He believes that everyone deserves a fair go, with access to quality education, childcare, health
and social services fundamental to a vibrant and fair community. He supports a cleaner and more
sustainable future for our environment, and wants to preserve the parks and recreational areas
of Fannie Bay that make living here great.

Personal accountability is fundamental to Brent’s commitment to his constituents. It means
delivering on his promises and the commitments are his number one priority.

Brent is the Minister for Police; Minister for Fire and Emergency Services and Minister for
Veterans' Affair. He is also an active member of several parliamentary committees, such as Public
Accounts, Estimates, Legal and Constitutional Affairs, and Standing Committee on the ICAC.
