Dheran Young

 

Dheran has lived in the Territory for over 8 years and previously spent four years in Wadeye, working with students at the local boarding school and their families.

He was also the Regional Development Manager for the Wadeye Football League, running footy comps for the entire Daly region.

Dheran was raised by his teacher mum to always look out for others and lend a hand where you can.

More recently, he has been a part of Territory Labor Government team, as an adviser to then Chief Minister Michael Gunner and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Selena Uibo.

Dheran is the voice for the Daly in the Territory Labor Government. He continues to build on the Government’s strong record of delivering for the Daly with remote housing, the new Mandorah Jetty, the Gamba Army and recreational fishing infrastructure.
